Sustainability and Value Creation: The Project Manager’s Role
How Project Managers translate sustainability principles into measurable value, benefits, and long-term organizational impact
Webinar – 24 Febbraio 2026 – ore 18:30 – 19:30
Evento riservato ai SOCI
Lingua: Italiano e Inglese
______________________English Version______________________________
The Interchapter Standards Committee continues its commitment to offer our members meetings and in-depth activities focused on PMI Standards, sharing use cases, promoting dialogue between PMI Standards and those of other associations and organizations, and serving as a reference point for further improving knowledge of these standards—both for individual Project Managers and for companies.
Established in 2020 within the CIC, the Committee expanded in June 2022 to include volunteers from the NIC and SIC and was officially presented as the Interchapter Standards Committee in April 2024.
What will we talk about today?
Sustainability is a key factor in the delivery of successful projects (PMI Success Report 2025) and in the perception of the value they generate. Defined as the practice of meeting current needs while simultaneously improving the ability of future generations to meet their own, sustainability is based on broadening the perspective of project evaluation to include economic, social, and environmental impacts.
But how can all this be translated into practice? How can a project manager stand out in the job market by becoming a driving force for organizations in pursuing these objectives? Through its Joint Venture with GPM, PMI has provided us with the tools to do so.
In this webinar, we will explore the new standards and guidelines for Sustainable Project Management together with their architect.
At the end of the webinar, participants will:
- Understand the main concepts of Green PM, which became part of the PMI family last year
- Learn the process and requirements to obtain the certification
- Become familiar with the available Green PM certifications and the official reference materials
Don’t miss it—we’re sure you’ll enjoy it!
