Il Chapter Innovation Program è stato lanciato nel Maggio 2014 con l’obiettivo di incoraggiare i chapter a fare proposte innovative per migliorare il valore della membership per i soci assicurando allo stesso tempo usabiità nel lungo termine, semplicità di esecuzione e portabilità della soluzione tra i chapters. Il programma ha ricevuto idee e proposte da tutte le regioni e tutte le proposte sono state attentamente valutate dai volontari in tutto il mondo. A conclusione di questo processo, il PMI® è lieto di annunciare che la propostra del PMI® Rome Italy Chapter e del PMI® Western Australia Chapter dal titolo: “PMIx – Piattaforma di webcast globale” è stata selezionata come vincitrice del 2014 Chapter Innovation Program.
Ispirata dal programma del PMI® Western Australia , l’idea è stata ulteriormente articolata da una discussione tra il Rome Italy Chapter ed PMI® Western Australia chapter per rendere l’dea applicabile su scala globale. Questo programma consentirà ai chapters di condividere idee, conoscenza e presentazione tra i chapter consentendo di mettere in condivisione le registrazione degli eventi che ogni chapter produce. PMIx darà valore ai soci dando accesso ai contenuti ed alle idee dei chapters di tutto il mondo. I soci che non possono partecipare ad un evento in presenza potranno accedere agli eventi virtualmente.
Il PMI® attiverà un taskforce globale costituità da rappresentanti del Rome Italy Chapter e del PMI® Western Australia Chapter e membri dello staff del PMI® da varie aree funzionali. I risultati di questo progetto saranno condivisi nel corso del 2015 attraverso i canali di comunicazione del PMI.

The Chapter Innovation Program was launched in May 2014 with the aim to encourage chapters to put forward innovative ideas that will deliver increased member value, while ensuring long-term viability, simplicity in implementation, and portability across chapters. The program received idea submissions from all macro-regions and included a high level of engagement from volunteer review teams that ensured each submission received the fair evaluation it deserved. Concluding its evaluation, PMI® is pleased to announce that the PMI® Rome Italy Chapter and PMI® Western Australia Chapter’s submission of, “PMIx – PMI® global event webcast platform” has been selected as winner for the 2014 Chapter Innovation Program.
Inspired by PMI® Western Australia Chapter’s current program, the “PMIx – PMI® global event webcast platform”, has been expanded through discussion between PMI® Rome Italy Chapter and PMI® Western Australia Chapter to make the program applicable on a global level. This program will enable PMI® chapters to share ideas, knowledge, and presentations between chapters globally by webcasting videos from chapter events for other chapters and their members to access. PMIx will bring direct value to members by gaining greater access to global content, ideas, and knowledge through other chapters from around the globe. Chapter members unable to attend events in person can still gain access to events virtually.
Moving forward to the implementation of the idea, PMI® will initiate a taskforce team at a global level that consists of representatives from the PMI® Rome Italy Chapter and PMI® Western Australia Chapter and PMI® staff from various functional areas. Results of the implementation will be shared with the PMI® community through various PMI® communication channels in 2015.
We would also like to take this time to thank all chapters who participated by submitting ideas and also to the volunteers who took part in the evaluation process. We’d like to give special thanks to the Chapter Member Advisory Group leaders who spearheaded the program.
